The mission of the Agency is to improve the quality of life and independent functioning of a diverse client population served through an extensive delivery-system of community-based substance abuse and social service programs. All programs emphasize dignity, respect, and empowerment of disadvantaged clients. The Agency believes in teaching individuals and families regarding the skills and problem-solving abilities required for self-sufficiency.
The Agency currently operates eight (8) programs in the Metro Boston area and continues to expand its scope of services.
The Financial Assistant is a key member of the administrative team reporting directly to the CFO. The position involves a diverse number of tasks including, but not necessarily limited to, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budget planning and monitoring. The position has potential for growth and advancement. Hours and Salary are negotiable.

Job Requirements:
- Applicants must have experience in all Accounting.
- A Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- A non-profit background is preferred
- Familiarity with Sage Software is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to periodic programmatic, administrative and government regulatory changes is essential.
- Must be a team player, able to work both in close connection with other team members and individually on various tasks.
