CCFA is a private, non-profit national organization dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. CCFA sponsors basic and clinical research of the highest quality, offers a wide range of educational programs for patients and health care professionals, and provides supportive services to patients and family members. Team Challenge is CCFA's endurance training and fundraising program. Through Team Challenge, participants can run or walk 13.1 miles or train for a triathlon or cycling event while helping to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) seeks a Fundraising Campaign Manager for its Rocky Mountain chapter now located in Denver, CO. Qualified candidates will be out going, goal oriented, have fundraising experience and a passion for endurance sports such as half marathons. This position is responsible for implementing endurance training programs, marketing, providing fundraising support and event management to guarantee success of the Team Challenge program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Coordinate and execute elements of promotional and grassroots marketing to generate leads in the Team Challenge half marathon training program.
• Implement public relations and media involvement in marketing the Team Challenge half marathon program.
• Recruit and manage participants helping to motivate and support them in achieving the fundraising and training goals.
• Swift execution through the sales pipeline from prospect to participant. Conversion rates are monitored & measured.
• Strategize and implement tactics designed to drive up participation, increase fundraising and retain participants for the Team Challenge half marathon programs.
• Coordinate and implement logistics for travel to half marathons.
• Provide fundraising materials and support required for successful implementation of campaign.
• Coordinate and implement public awareness of CCFA, Team Challenge and our mission
• Prepare statistical reports, budgets and forecasting as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS degree
• Skilled in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Power Point
• Familiar with the Denver/Boulder market
• On Line and Social Media Marketing
• Fundraising and/or Sales Experience
• Ability to be flexible and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Public Speaking required
• Energetic team player
