Field Coordinators (FCs) are the face of StudentsFirst in communities across cities and state(s), working to advance StudentsFirst's mission and agenda. The Primary responsibility of a Field Coordinator is to recruit, manage, train and organize SF members into sustainable Transformation teams and create a cohesive volunteer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct state field operations
  • Develop long and short-term field plans and goals with active support and input from State Outreach Manager.
  • Manage, track, and analyze Salesforce data to inform planning and ensure data integrity
  • Implement technical electoral organizing and campaign trainings for Transformation Team members, team leaders, and general volunteers.
  • Direct & administer field operations to meet agreed upon goals; including phone banks, canvasses, and mobilizations for canvassers and volunteers.
  • Drive & track volunteer recruitment process, training, and supervision to ensure overall goals are met, with active support
  • Conduct field team assessments, work with supervisor to develop electoral skills development plan, and support leadership development of field team.
  • Support programmatic events and mobilizations around active political and policy

Working Conditions
Work is mainly performed in an office environment in a small workstation without an expectation of privacy. Noise levels are usually moderate.
Up to 80% travel

Salary is commensurate with experience.
