FareStart – Director Network Development and Operations

FareStart is seeking an experienced high-level manager to direct its national replication program, Catalyst Kitchens. Catalyst Kitchens works to replicate, strengthen and scale foodservice social enterprises that provide job and life skills training programs for individuals facing significant barriers to employment. This position will direct and manage the day-to-day operations and key network functions of Catalyst Kitchens. Responsibilities include providing significant efforts toward increasing membership and technical service delivery activities and developing high level relationships and support throughout the national network to improve collective value to members. Provide oversight and assistance in support of all fund development activities. Manage and support the work of reporting staff.

The ideal candidate will be driven, organized, an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and will demonstrate the ability to alternate focus between both tactical projects and strategic thinking. In this full-time position, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and be able to make a positive difference for individuals in need in our community and throughout the nation.

You have:

  • 7 years experience with non-profit management, experience in social enterprise field preferred
  • 5 years network development and client relationship management including proven track record of providing long-term value to network members
  • Experience with national non-profit networks and/or associations
  • Working Knowledge of financial reports and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Commitment to excellence, passion for our mission, and ability to communicate to individuals in all roles throughout organization
