Living Beyond Breast Cancer, founded in 1991, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support. LBBC provides support and education individuals throughout the country who are impacted by breast cancer. LBBC reaches more than 80,000 people annually through our publications, educational programs, website, social media and Breast Cancer Helpline. The Manager, Projects and Workflow is responsible for supporting Living Beyond Breast Cancer's core departments in their efforts to deliver content and communicate with their constituents (people diagnosed with breast cancer, caregivers and family members, healthcare providers, volunteers, donors and supporters). The position will work with staff from both Programs & Partnerships and Development & Communications, helping to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and that communications are effective and consistent. The position will manage the work of several external consultants hired to support the work of LBBC.
The candidate will be a highly organized, motivated, and self-directed professional. The position will oversee the gathering and dissemination of all organizational communication through multiple platforms including websites, social media, e-mail distributions, and printed materials. The Project Manager will facilitate the exchange of information among departments and will drive projects through to completion in a fast paced environment.
