Organization Type: Health Foundation

Location: Washington, DC

Position Title: Development Manager, Corporate Relations.

Temporary Hourly Wage: $16/hr - $18/hr – Depending on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Researches foundation websites and databases for opportunities and creates and manages strategies for corporate relations
• Manages corporate relationships as assigned, with opportunities to gain responsibility for accounts of increasing value over time
• Works with donor relations database
• Manages trackers and prospect lists
• Manages department business protocols, including donor correspondence (thank-you letters), database maintenance, filing systems, etc

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in corporate development
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus
• Multicultural Experience is a plus (Latin America)
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
• Indigenous health research experience is a plus
• Experience working with membership databases is required
• Experience working with both volunteers and executives is a plus
• Experience in outreach and development is required
• Strong handle of telephone etiquette is a plus
• Experience with strategic planning/development is a plus
• International and/or local fundraising and proposal development experience preferred
• Believe passionately in the organization's mission, vision and values
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Excellent coordination and organization skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with an international staff
• Ability to think critically, objectively, analytically, and strategically
