Bastyr University is seeking a part-time Day Care Assistant for its Parent Resource Center on the Kenmore Campus.
Responsibilities: Maintain a safe environment for children. Maintain a daily log of food intake, diaper changes, naps and behaviors. Educate children through curriculum activities set by the Director. Mediate and discipline appropriately when necessary. Complete weekly cleaning chores. Attend one mandatory meeting each quarter. Aid in drop-off sign-up. Know, understand, and reflect the philosophy of the Parent Resource Center and Bastyr University. May be asked to close occasionally.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in childcare experience. Some experience with babies 3-18 months is necessary. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. A national background check will be conducted
