Pacific Community Ventures

Pacific Community Ventures (PCV) drives human and financial capital to underserved communities, creating quality jobs and economic opportunities in the places that need them most. We accomplish this mission through two core nonprofit programs and a for-profit affiliate, Pacific Community Management:

• InSight at PCV, our thought leadership and impact evaluation practice, provides investors and policymakers with the knowledge and tools to successfully deploy capital for both financial and social returns, and to better incentivize impact investing.
• PCV's Business Advising practice provides emerging entrepreneurs with the expertise and knowledge they need to responsibly grow their businesses and create quality jobs. PCV recruitsCalifornia's brightest business minds to volunteer their expertise to help promising small business people build their companies in lower income communities.
• Pacific Community Management invests three private equity funds, totaling $60 million, in California's low-income communities.

Over the past 14 years, PCV has raised and deployed $100 million of investment and philanthropic capital, creating or retaining 25,000 quality jobs for people in lower-income communities. PCV strives to continue this track record and increase our impact by working with more investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and research partners inCalifornia, theUnited States, and beyond.
