Segerstrom Center for the Arts (formerly known as the Orange County Performing Arts Center) is one of the nation's most acclaimed performing arts centers, presenting an eclectic range of the world's finest performers and companies to the diverse communities of Orange County and Southern California. These performances are complemented by a wide range of innovative education programs that reach over 350,000 young people annually.
The quality, ambition and variety of SCFTA's many artistic and education programs have solidified its role as a flagship cultural institution not only locally but also regionally, nationally and internationally. Its annual seasons showcase a popular Broadway series, an acclaimed classical dance series, world premieres, international collaborations, innovative dance and theatre performances, intimate jazz, cabaret and family oriented presentations, a contemporary performance festival and a free outdoor performance series that has been enthusiastically received by the community.
SCFTA's artistic and educational programs and initiatives are supported by some of the nation's most acoustically innovative and technically advanced performing arts venues including the 3,000 seat Segerstrom Hall, 250 seat Founder's Hall, the 2,000 seat Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, the 500 seat Samueli Theatre, a 46,000 square foot outdoor arts plaza, a studio performance space and related production and rehearsal spaces.
