Angel View Crippled Children's Foundation, Inc.

Angel View is the longest established organization in the Coachella Valley operating Intermediate Care Facilities for Developmentally Disabled. We provide 24-hour nursing services in group-homes that emulate a family environment. In addition, we operate a Congregate Living Health Facility, a Day Program for developmentally disabled adults and an Outreach Program that assists local families with disabled children. Because Angel View exists, 100% of the local residents who need our services have them available without leaving the Palm Springs area.

Angel View’s mission, and our forte, is assisting people in our care to reach their maximum potential. We currently help more than 100 developmentally disabled children and young adults learn independent living skills.

Clients achieve their maximum potential with the help of physicians, dieticians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, recreational therapists, work experience trainers, educational programs and physical therapists. In several cases, we’ve achieved the greatest success possible: because of the treatment and therapies Angel View has provided -- the state has approved residents to live on their own. In other cases, residents’ self-esteem has dramatically improved with their growth in independence.
