  • About Us

AICS is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit health care organization that has provided behavioral health services to Wrangell, Alaska since in 1989. We have been a Federally Qualified Community Health Center since 2004, and are the sole provider of primary care and behavioral health services for Wrangell, Northern Prince of Wales Island, Gustavus, Excursion Inlet, and Edna Bay, Alaska. Services are provided through a variety of modalities (e.g., in clinics or through telehealth) depending on client location. Our mission, creating innovative and sustainable ways to help people, guides our agency as we continue to develop new ways to address the needs of the remote, rural communities we serve.
