About us

The Aliveness Project is a community support center that encourages self-empowerment and provides direct services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.

The Aliveness Project has developed an innovative set of direct services to address the needs of its members.  We offer a Food Services Program, including hot meals and a food shelf, to supplement daily nutrition, Case Management and Health & Wellness services to provide creative ways of helping people cope with issues surrounding the AIDS, and Integrated Therapies to augment current modes of AIDS drug and treatment programs.

Over 8,000 Minnesotans are known to be living with HIV/AIDS.  Over 1,900 of them are active members of The Aliveness Project, meaning that they have utilized at least one of our services in the last year.  All it takes to become a member of the Aliveness Project is to have a physician verify one’s HIV positive status.
