SONAD has the experience and contacts to make a significant contribution to transforming conflict through its values, which says; SONAD believes in Peaceful social change, which means SONAD is committed to upholding the principle of nonviolence as means of social change. We shall attract people by deeds, not coercion; seek to transform society through dialogue and persuasion. We shall be the change that we want to see in the world. SONAD further believes in empowering people to improve their own lives, this means SONAD works with, not for, the people to improve their situation. We train and empower project beneficiaries to take initiatives and to sustain activities.
