About us

Project Bayview's mission is: To develop thriving leaders who strive to revive their community

We are a faith-based, urban ministry, leadership development program. We believe God heals and restores the broken and lost. One way he does that is through discipleship. Here at Project Bayview we look for potential leaders who are tired of doing their old way of life and need a little support and encouragement to recognize the man/woman God has called them to be. We want to invest in those who are willing to pass on what they've learned to the next generation. Once accepted into our program, we pair the resident up with a mentor (disciplemaker) and they live life together in a house of up to 16 people. The residents will stay at our house for up to two years.

The first year they will be poured into and the 2nd year they will become mentors. We also believe that discipleship is more than meeting once a week. There are basic life skills that we also want to develop such as career development, financial, communication, resume building, etc.

Our goal is that everyone who completes THRIVE mentorship program will develop a…….

Right Relationship with God

•Knows, loves and follows Christ

•Empowered, filled and led by the Spirit

•Studies and obeys His Word

Right Relationship with People

•Loves the church: Serves and encourages his brothers and sisters

•Makes disciples: Tells others about Jesus, and instructs them in His ways

•Cares for the poor: Finds ways to practically show compassion to those in need

Right Relationship with the World

•Understands the brevity of life in light of eternity

•Is not in love with the things and ways of the world

•Works hard and is content living simply

We will accomplish this through our 2-year mentorship program THRIVE that will incorporate three core areas:

•Classroom Instruction

•Personal Study

•Group Discussions

•Build Solid Relationships

•Prayer, Worship, Devotions

•Discipleship Meetings

•Community Dinners

•Activities & Retreats

•Serve Local Community

•Make Disciples

•Be the Church

•Giver vs. Taker

•Develop Good Work Habits

We are currently accepting applications for mentors and residents. We also have internships available on the business administration end of things if you have a background in accounting, HR, operations, communications, legal, or marketing.
