The Rape Fdn

The mission of The Rape Foundation is to support (1) comprehensive treatment for victims of rape, sexual assault, and sexual abuse, including medical care, forensic services, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, advocacy, accompaniment, outreach, legal assistance, and other support services; (2) professional training programs for police, prosecutors, school personnel, medical and mental health practitioners, and other victim services providers; (3) public education; (4) rape, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and related violence prevention programs; (5) educational and informational films, books, and other communication materials; (6) specialized services for child victims; (7) related research; and (8) other efforts designed to increase public awareness about rape and child sexual abuse and reduce the prevalence of these forms of violence.
