The 1-800JesusChrist Project is a humanitarian effort, not a religious one. We do seek to follow the principles of Jesus Christ: those of service, love, and sacrifice and we desire to serve all.

Through our 1-800-JesusChrist phone number (800-537-8724), people in need (often those without access to the Internet) can call in and record prayer requests, then that wav file is posted on our website, 1800JesusChrist.org. Site visitors are encouraged to pray with the caller and/or answer a caller’s prayer.

Prayer requests come in the form of Earthly and Heavenly prayers. For example, an Earthly prayer may be a single mom who needs a car seat, or a crib. She can call us and leaves her prayer request recording, and our team of volunteers will both look for it on the Internet (i.e. Craigslist, Freecycle) and also promote her need on our website so that her Earthly prayer has a better chance of being heard and answered. A Heavenly pray, like health concerns, will be posted in our forum so people can support each other in their time of need.
