About Us
Y-Scholars is a college preparatory program for low-income, first-generation college-bound students at Berkeley High School. We offer college preparatory and study skills classes, tutoring, one-on-one assistance with college and scholarship application, college tours, social events, and more!
Currently we're seeking community members dedicated to education as a tool for social justice interested in volunteering to mentor and/or tutor our youth.
Commit only 2 HOURS PER WEEK to providing a student with academic and social support & change a life!
We're conveniently located only 2 BLOCKS from the Downtown Berkeley BART station!
