About Us

Magna Carta is a not-for-profit Brussels-based independent research institute and academic network specializing in human rights and international law. In addition to providing professional advice, we conduct research and training programs on issues such as prosecuting terrorism and the rule of law; corporate social responsibility; business and human rights; humanitarian law; transnational human rights litigation; global governance; history and philosophy of international law and international relations. We work closely with university professors, researchers, international scholars, judges and lawyers in an exciting and dynamic environment.

In partnerships with universities and institutions around the world, Magna Carta conducts research in the following fields: International Law and International Human Rights Law, International Relations, Political and Legal Philosophy, History of Ideas, History of Law.
