Formed in 2012, the MidAtlantic

Opera is a not-for-profit companywith the mission of bringing the

finest professional operatic performances to audiences throughout the

Mid-Atlantic region. We believe in the importance of inspiring our audiences

and enriching the cultural life of our communities by sharing the aesthetic

power, intellectual and emotional engagement, and extreme technical

demands of world-class opera.Through the vision of our artistic

director, Maestro Jason C. Tramm, MidAtlantic Opera is able to assemble

talented creative artists who developproductions with a modern perspective

while capturing the original concept, cultural setting and spirit of the opera.
