Our goal is to make Connecticut a hub of social enterprise by creating a community of individuals and organizations who are committed to the ongoing economic and social development of our state. A social enterprise is any organization that uses business to solve community problems. It's a new hybrid business model that recognizes the power of business to generate both purpose and profit.
