Girl Scouts of Western Washington's Fostering a Future Program serves girls in foster care ages 5-17 in King, Pierce, and Thurston Counties. The program is designed to address the instability and social needs faced by girls in foster care, and programming includes independent living skills, self-esteem building, healthy relationships, Girl Scout programming, and outdoor experiences. Girls are divided into different age groups, and transported to and from weekly troop meetings by trained staff and volunteers. Get involved, and help a girl in foster care today.
