High Tech High Graduate School of Education

The High Tech High Graduate School of Education (GSE) develops teachers, educational leaders and school founders interested in reimagining schools with a focus on equity, deeper learning and shared leadership. The GSE is embedded within the 16 High Tech High K-12 schools, providing a rich context for hands-on learning and the integration of theory and practice.

The HTH GSE offers two unique M.Ed. and Credentialing programs. The San Diego Teacher Residency provides students the opportunity to learn to teach for justice and deeper learning through an immersive residency in a HTH school while earning an M.Ed. in Teaching & Learning with a California Preliminary Teaching Credential. The M.Ed. in Educational Leadership program provides students with the opportunity to grow as a teacher or school leader and earn an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership with an optional California Preliminary Administrative Credential.
