    Cleveland County Abuse Prevention Council serves as a bridge between being a victim to becoming a survivor of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, homelessness and homemaker displacement through the provision of safe shelter, advocacy, support services, and preventive education.

    The Cleveland County Abuse Prevention Council provides 24 hour, seven day a week crisis line services, shelter, court advocacy, Crisis Companion, case management, and individual and group counseling services for victims of domestic violence, rape or sexual assault; education and support services for displaced homemakers and shelter, case management and supportive housing for homeless women and children.
