    SCA's mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land. SCA is a non-profit organization that recruits and fields more than 3,500 high school, college and adult volunteers annually to provide service to our national parks, forests, wildlife refuges and other public lands. Volunteers gain hands-on experience in conservation work, resource management,public service and much more. SCA employs more than 150 full time staff in our five regional offices to implement programs, fund raise and recruit participants.
