CHOICES

Washington, DC

  • About Us

Since 1985, CHOICES, the Committee for High School Options & Information on Careers, Education and Self-Improvement, has been a Washington, DC-based volunteer group that brings military veterans and family members into high schools and community events to inform students about the realities of war and military life, the special problems faced by women and youth of color, and to provide them with options and choices for civilian job training, placement and money for college. We are part of the National Network Opposed to Militarization of Youth, and we work to change school policies that threaten student privacy and increase militarization of youth.
