About Us

History

The Highbridge Advisory Council (HAC) is a not-for-profit organization located in the Highbridge-Morrisania catchment area within the Planning Board #4, School District #9. HAC serves over 2,000 children, and families in the area. The Organization provides a continum of children's services including: preschool regular education, family day care, evaluation, and related services.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Highbridge Adisory Council is to find ways to renovate, rehabilitate, stablilize, and make changes in our deteriorating neighborhood by evolving community developments/improvement projects and social programs. The new community develops improvements that will provide integrated community-based supportive services to the un-served, under-served, and transient population of the surrounding communities (Highbridge, Concourse, Mount Hope, Morris Heights and University Heights).
