About us

Children of Promise, Youth Mentoring Programs serve youth facing challenges through One-on-One Mentoring, Foster Grandparent Program, and Youth Leadership. The children in our One-on-One Mentoring Program have a parent or guardian in prison, on parole, or on probation. We also serve youth who are involved with Juvenile Court Services. Operated by the Community Corrections Improvement Association (CCIA), Children of Promise programs change lives by providing youth with adults who can help them thrive and envision a positive future. The mentors and committed staff members help children develop a rich set of assets that help them cope with risk, and overcome the personal and external challenges they face in their environment.
