Refugee Foster Care Mentor Program at LSSM

Lutheran Social Services of Michigan in Lansing is looking for committed community members to become mentors for our refugee foster care youth. These refugee you have fled their home countries due to war, persuction or violence and have arrived in the United States without family members to take care of them. We place these youth in foster care across the state of Michigan. The role of the mentor is to build a relationship of unconditional caring and friendship.
