Incorporated in Nigeria, the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) is a non-profit organization that provides support in the design, development, implementation and management of the programs funded by its counterpart in the United States, the NDPI Foundation and other donor partners. The PIND Foundation works to establish and encourage innovative multi-stakeholder partnerships that support programs and activities, which empower communities to achieve a peaceful and enabling environment for equitable economic growth in the Niger Delta.
A new initiative of PIND/NDPI, NDLink was launched in November 2013 as a response to the deep lack of coordination between development stakeholders, actors, and donors working in the Niger Delta. The donor community is also missing a centralized space on where to advertise new and current projects and programs, or where success stories (and failures) can be shared and publicized.
NDLink is an online community for development actors, stakeholders, and professionals working in the Niger Delta to achieve one goal: the sustainable development of the region. Geared specifically to development actors in the Niger Delta, NDLink will not only address the current inefficiencies in the region, but will seek to enable organizations to build partnerships, expand capacity, and coordinate with one another to achieve sustainable development. NDLink comprises of four building blocks: development, coordination, partnership, and sustainability.
