About us

Our Beliefs

Revolution of the Heart is more than a throwaway line.

We are a church fueled by a great passion in what is possible when hearts are turned toward God: lives changed, marriages restored, families healed, hearts made whole and poverty transformed.

We are always looking for new opportunities to reach more with the heart-changing, world-changing message of the Gospel, in both our city and our world.

Through compelling worship, hands-on service with the poor, and small group study we strive to present the timeless teaching of Jesus Christ in a clear and relevant way.

And although our approach to church is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain the orthodox beliefs of the historic faith.

Our historic beliefs manifest themselves in three core passions or practices:

A Heart for Worship

Worship is the heart of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. The passion of our worship team is to lead our community into the presence of God during every worship experience.
Whether it is through traditional choirs, contemporary praise songs, banjo-driven bluegrass, or compelling, creative teaching, the heart of our worship is to celebrate God's faithfulness and our gratitude for the work of Christ in our lives.

A Heart for Kids

Aldersgate Kids is the family ministry of the church with a goal of engaging kids and empowering families.
Aldersgate Kids provides age-appropriate worship, Bible stories, and activities during our weekend worship experiences. We engage your children at their level.

A Heart for the Poor

At Aldersgate, we believe the most effective way to serve the poor is through partnership.
Through Aldersgate Mission and Service, we work in partnership with non-profit organizations locally, nationally, & globally to feed the hungry, fight homelessness, and empower women and children to break the cycle of dependency so that they might transform their lives.
We are committing to leading new generations into a life of generosity and service. When you give to Aldersgate, a tithe of your giving goes to support these partnerships.
