Orange County Communities Organized for Responsible Development (OCCORD) is a community based, non-profit organization that advances the rights and improves the lives of working families through organizing, civic participation, policy research, and advocacy. Our Accountable Development Program builds leadership, organizes coalitions, and develops policy solutions to ensure that workers and communities benefit from land use planning and economic development policies. Our Immigrant and Workplace Rights Program provides citizenship assistance and nonpartisan voter registration, education, and mobilization to promote immigrant integration and a culture of civic engagement.
