About Us

The National Asian pacific Center on Aging's (NAPCA) mission is to serve as the leading national advocacy organization committed to the dignity, well-being and quality of life of Asian Pacific Americans in their senior years.

Since 1979, NAPCA, headquartered in Seattle, has directly served thousands of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) seniors who represent the fastest growing segment of the aging population. NAPCA works in collaboration with local Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to reach AAPI elders on the local level.

AAPI elders face many unique challenges including cultural and language barriers and access to services and employment opportunities which impact their economic security. Among many services, NAPCA offers employment training opportunities, linguistically and culturally appropriate resources and services to help AAPI elders access benefits for which they are eligible and qualified to receive, including Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and other benefit programs.
