    Suwannimit was established to support and service underprivileged Burmese people in Thailand, with the involvement of the following community based organizations: 1. Burmese Migrant Workers Education Committee; 2. Burmese Migrant Teachers Association; 3. Committee for the Protection and Promotion of Child Rights; 4. Mae Tao Clinic 5. Social Action for Women.

    These organizations all promote access to critical social services for underprivileged people in Thailand-Burma border, and are of varying size and mandate.
