Scalabrini Lay Movement of Rhode Island

The Scalabrini Lay Movement of Rhode Island is a faith-based non-profit organization whose mission is to benevolently embrace, counsel, and support those experiencing the consequential effects of Social Marginalization. The Scalabrini Dukcevich Center is managed by the Scalabrini Lay Movement of Rhode Island and was established to provide programs, services, and support to those communities experiencing Social Marginalization. The Scalabrini Lay Movement in conjunction with the Scalabrini Dukcevich Center strives to overcome stereotypical biases and better understand the dynamic factors that create Social Marginalization Support, programs, and services are offered to all those in need without regard to individual ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, psychological well-being, or social status. The Center currently provides the following services on a regular basis; WIC, SNAP, Nutritional Education, Legal Aid, Educational Courses, Vocational Education, Domestic Abuse Groups, and Unplanned Pregnancy Support in the form of formula, diapers, baby clothing. The Center also offers annually or as needed the following services and programs; the Children's Summer Lunch Program, Medical Services, Dental Services, Judicial Services, and Advocacy.
