About us

Shanti exists to enhance the health, quality of life, and well-being of people living with life-threatening illnesses. Each year, we serve over 2,000 people living with cancer, HIV/AIDS and other disabilities. Shanti assists them through the often debilitating emotional and physical challenges of a life-threatening illness. We build a healthier San Francisco by improving the health and quality of life of vulnerable individuals in our community. Our services provide support during the most challenging of times. For many of our clients, Shanti is their sole source of support and care advocacy during this extreme time of need.
