About Us

The Global Stewards Institute (GSI), a US non-profit organization that is committed to educating future global leaders, peace builders and agents of social change through its global study/travel programs.

GSI has partnered with the University of California, Riverside to develop The Global Leadership Program, a series of experiential. post-graduate academic programs that may be applied to masters degree programs at partnering universities around the world.

Led by an international team, GSI is committed to building a peaceful world and embracing diversity, sustainability, service and social justice.

Additionally, GSI is developing international career training internships, social venture projects and work opportunities for students. Upon completion of the certificate program, students may apply to work at NGOs, businesses and international agencies in their field of interest.

Program Launch: Dec 15, 2012 - Jan 5, 2013 to Panama, Cuba and the Caribbean. A study/travel tours to this emerging region. The 3-unit global leadeership course and a field study/service activity will include both land and sea components. Post-graduate and life-long learners from around the world will be participating in the program to a special blend of countries in the Caribbean. An international faculty, regional and in-country specialists from the UN and academic institutions will lead the experience. Group size: 30 participants.
