  • About Us

The New England Institute of Addiction Studies helps to prepare the human services workforce to prevent, intervene, treat and aid in the recovery of addictions. The Institute has a long history of quality training. The work done by NEIAS is different from other training entities in that workshops are more skill-building rather than general education in focus. NEIAS runs a four day summer school in June and a four day long best practices institute in Sept.

NEIAS is looking to grow its work to reach a greater audience and educate more individuals about the issue of addictions. Looking to impact the understanding of professionals who come in contact with addiction issues, although not specifically focused on the issue, will empower those professionals with the information they need to be helpful.
