World Vision Gifts-in-Kind, Denver, CO

World Vision in a Christian humanitarian organization, dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. Motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, World Vision serves alongside the poor and oppressed as a demonstration of God's unconditional love for all people. Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) are high quality products given to nonprofit organizations by corporations. GIK products are used by World Vision both domestically and internationally to help children and families in need, most as a result of chronic poverty but also those affected by disaster. Volunteers help sort, count, and repack GIK products such as shoes, clothing, school and medical supplies at the GIK distribution centers in Denver, Colorado and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Volunteers help put GIK product into the hands of children, their families, and communities in desperate need.
