About us

At African Hope Network we believe that every child should have access to high quality education. We’re a small, rapidly growing NGO dedicated to improving quality of primary schools in Uganda. We identify evidence-based, cost-effective education programs to pilot and scale. We believe in data driven decision and continuous learning. We aim big - our goal is to select programs that can be scaled to regional and national levels through strategic partnerships.African Hope Network is dedicated to helping young Ugandans develop the skills they need to become leaders in their community. We help young Ugandans become successful leaders through our AHN Fellows Program. Our AHN fellows are hand-selected, high-potential young leaders. Each fellow receives support for professional development and personally tailored mentorship to help them develop leadership skills. In addition, our fellows receive grants to invest in their community projects – educating orphans, building income-generating pig farms, creating sustainable health clinics, or more – to magnify their impact in the future. By empowering these young Ugandan leaders, we believe they will make a difference in their communities, in their countries, and ultimately, in the world at large.
