Project 215, Inc.

Project (215) is a non-profit, 501 c 3 Christian volunteer organization that compassionately serves individuals and organizations throughout the greater Philadelphia area, to enhance their overall well being through holistic service. Propelled forward by our love for Jesus Christ, we effectively mobilize young adults in the city of Philadelphia, using biblical principles to impact our communities. This is Project (215)!

The idea for Project (215) in it's initial stages came from the onslaught of increasing homicides in Philadelphia that threatened the life of every living person in our city. The crisis took us from the city of brotherly love to 'Kill-a-delphia' and our faith was leading us to do something. A project is something that involves much planning, manpower, resources, and will encounter trials and that is what we have taken on in becoming a service to Philadelphia. Our actions are not limited to one specific area and because of that we are a project. 215 indicates the area we service which is the area code of Philadelphia, hence the (215) with parenthesis.

Project (215) therefore developed what some would call random acts of kindness. We label them acts of love. They are planned and purposeful events designed to inject love back into our city by mobilizing young adults to become social change agents. Love has become our remedy, so we operate under the slogan "Choose Love." The vision is to become a global organization that acts a model for replicating non-profit Christian entities to carry out our mission. We would like to take this very same mission and harvest different projects all over the nation first, stimulating young adults to conquer the issues that plague their specific demographical areas.
