Fountain Gate Life & Wellness, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, is a multi-faceted Christian organization dedicated to providing healing, encouragement, instruction, and outreach through counseling, retreats, education, and the arts.
Fountain Gate currently offers two programs to our community: Fountain Gate Counseling Center and Fountain Gate Gardens.
Located on Cherokee Street in historic downtown Kennesaw, our counseling center operates Monday through Saturday, providing professional counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. All of our services are offered on a sliding scale fee structure, with the mission of providing affordable mental health services to our entire community. Through our counseling center, we also offer workshops, seminars, and group counseling opportunities.
Also located on Cherokee Street, Fountain Gate Gardens (currently in development) serves as an extension of the therapeutic services we offer in our counseling center. At present time, we operate a 26 bed community garden that provides community members an opportunity to practice natural and organic gardening in a social setting. We also house a 5,000 sq ft Plant A Row (PAR)garden, maintained by a group of Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County. The PAR garden donates 100% of the organic produce it produces each year to the Center for Family Resources, a local food bank in nearby Marietta, Ga.
