VFI has 3 core Program areas:

1) Healthy Villages & Local Leadership 2) Land & Livelihoods; focusing on land and natural resource management (The Rights-LINK Lao Project) 3) Protection and Empowerment for Women and Children; focusing on helping victims of trafficking

Vision: VFI believes that every village/community is 'healthy*' with the capacity, legal right and power to participate fully in the improvement of their own quality of life.

Mission: To holistically address issues affecting daily life, through local leadership development, integrated training and support in the sectors of education, health care, agriculture, natural resource management, child protection, women empowerment and legal protection, with its focus on the marginalized communities
