Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations

MACDC supports and advances the efforts of community development corporations (CDCs) to promote economic justice, to encourage social change, and to empower poor and working class people and the communities in which they live. It is a non-profit association of 67 community-based development groups who seek to improve their neighborhoods through a wide variety of activities, including housing development, rehabiliation and management; commercial and industrial development; job creation, employment training, and small business development; community organizing and voter registration; and social services and community building efforts.
