About Us

Touch Africa Network (TAN) is a non-profit Voluntary Service Organization based in Kenya. TAN was founded in 2007 and provides grass-root support to communities by empowering self-help groups and community based organizations and institutions. This is done by incorporating voluntary service to community development processes.

We boast of a diverse network of affiliate community based organisations from all over Kenya. We have Volunteer/Intern opportunities working with children, teaching in schools, environmental and youth/women based community organisations.

Our volunteer program is two fold, one is volunteary service while the other one is cultural exchange and that is why all our volunteers stay with host families. We accept both skilled and unskilled volunteers and we would be honored to facilitate you volunteer mission in Africa.
