GreenPeople.org is the world's largest online directory of green, eco-friendly, and holistic goods and services, non-profit organizations and eco-events, serving consumers since 1998.

Our mission is to help consumers and green businesses connect. Our goal is to guide people through a crowded marketplace to find green, eco-friendly and healthy products and services. We help consumers, investors and businesses to harness their economic power to promote environmental sustainability.

GreenPeople Directory businesses are reviewed against stringent stringent eco-criteria, examining ingredients, supply sources, organic or other certifications, and the effect the product or service has on the environment. We weed out toxic, or 'greenwashed' products or services, resulting in a trusted directory of 20,000 members and growing.
We place a high value on supporting businesses that produce organic products, holistic health care, as well as vegetarian and vegan enterprises. Businesses vetted in our Green Assessment process are awarded the "Green People Seal of Approval" - a mark of trustworthiness. Our GreenPeople Seal of Approval verifies that products and services meet a set of meaningful and consistent standards for environmental protection. It verifies that those businesses promote positive lifestyles that are greener, healthier and more eco friendly through the products and services they offer.
Our Directory not only covers a broad spectrum of consumer products, but also business-to-business supplies and services. GreenPeople.org is widely used as a resource for businesses seeking to source green and eco friendly goods. Our directory appears under the 'GreenPeople' name and also appears as the Organic Consumer's Association Buying Guide.
We support eco-friendly non-profits and governmental agencies by providing free listings, promoting not for profit services, supporting their causes in our social media. We also support and facilitate donation campaigns, and assist in marketing non-profit programs and services.
GreenPeople.org is also a community service. Our motto: ‘Buy Green, Sell Green, Be Green’ speaks to our goal of making it easy for people to ‘vote green’ with their pocketbooks.
