Community Family Life Services

For over 40 years,Community Family Life Services (CFLS), a non-profit organization, provides a network of social services for low-income and homeless families, individuals and returning citizens in the District of Columbia.

CFLS has continued to provide comprehensive services the citizens of the District of Columbia. Our mission is to provide clients with the tools they need to move beyond poverty and homelessness into permanent self-sufficiency. Two of our many goals are: (1) to provide short-term crisis assistance, and (2) to empower individuals and families to improve their lives for long-term success. Our holistic approach provides clients with education, skills and support from a committed staff, empowering each client to pursue his/her goals.
