About Us

To facilitate the development of African American Heritage toursim districts throughout the State of Illinois that preserve the unique character of the neighborhoods in which they reside, improve the socio-ecomomic and physical conditions of these communities, build resident pride and improve race relations. Three focus areas of development: Historic Preservation Heritage Tourism Information Technology BronzevilleOnline.com was designed to provide knowledge management for residents, visitors and customers of digital communities, utilizing the historic Black Metropolis as a geographic community of interest, a living cyber laboratory and a national demonstration model for bridging the digital divide in an urban environment.
