Harborlight-Stoneridge Montessori School

An independent co-educational Montessori school for children in pre-school through eighth-grade. The school earned accrediation by both the American Independent Schools of New England (AISNE) and Montessori Schools of Massachusetts (MSM).

At the heart of our teaching approach is Maria Montessori's guidance to "follow the child." This doesn't mean students are allowed free reign in a classroom, or that the curriculum, led by teachers, isn't academically rich. Instead, it means teachers encourage inquiry and exploration at all ages. They allow students the room to pursue what really sparks their interest. This plays an important role in encouraging— and affirming natural curiosity.

In the end, we nurture an innate love of learning, confidence within each child and the life-long skills that help children successfully manage their time and work.
