About Us

Institute for Women in Trades, Technology and Science (IWITTS) is a national leader in gender equity in education and was highlighted by the National Science Foundation for program effectiveness. Our evidence-based training and technical assistance helps educators at all levels to increase recruitment and retention of women and girls in STEM (and retention of males too).

Our Executive Director has testified before Congress, appeared extensively in the news media, and keynotes at conferences throughout the country. Our training, technical assistance, and role model products are highly regarded, but it is our innovative online social marketing that motivates educators to use them. We are recognized for our sophisticated e-newsletters, webinars, videos, and website that support grant-funded and earned-income activities. For more information visit www.iwitts.org.
