About us

The Public and Nonprofit Management Program (PNP) is designed for students who seek to use core business skills to address society's most challenging humanitarian and social problems. Whether you plan to work in the government, nonprofit, or private sector, this course of study will prepare you with the financial, operational, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills to lead and manage in today's changing environment.

Students enrolled in the Public and Nonprofit Management MBA Program earn a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in public and nonprofit management. The program combines a rigorous core business curriculum with elective courses in public and nonprofit management, a required Summer internship, and an engaged alumni community of graduates. Whether you are forming a new nonprofit, managing a well-established social enterprise, or engaged in a corporate or private philanthropy, you'll learn the skills and tools you need to be successful.

Our path of study, combined with practical applications, prepares students for leadership roles throughout the public and non-profit sectors, including public management, non-profit consulting, economic development, global social enterprise, and strategic fundraising and corporate philanthropy. Intensive field projects and a 300-hour internship create rich experiences and important relationships that complete the real-world education, and offer pathways to future employment.
